Professional Statement:
As a corporate Interior Designer for a turnkey architectural firm, my professional experience provides me with a unique professional art consulting background. I have been trained to architecturally consider finishes, furnishings, and lighting when selecting artwork.
I have 28 years of experience as a professional fine art consultant, and curator to corporations, hospitals, financial institutions, and private individuals. This includes sales, marketing, contract negotiation, and art acquisition, advisory services for current collections, fine art exhibitions, and archival preservation. I partner with clients to build an art collection that both reflect the client’s interests and aesthetic needs along with creating a collection of great value. Strongly support important local artists as well as nationally recognized artists.

- Art Consultant to Nuveen Investments in Chicago. Worked with the CEO and Staff of Nuveen. Inventoried 126 existing artworks and arranged for their archival storage, reframing, and conservation as necessary. Researched and planned new Fine Artworks and sited them on six floors of their newly renovated spaces at 333 Wacker Drive. Integrated their existing art collection into the remaining spaces. Researched and planned new artwork for Nuveen Investments Minneapolis, three floors of their recently opened offices.
- Art Consultant to Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan and Aronoff, an International Law Firm based in Cleveland. Worked with Managing Partner and five Lawyers on Art Committee. Fine Art planning of their firm’s move to three floors of the BP Building. Responsibilities included: Organized the reframing and re-siting of their existing artwork; coordinated with their art committee on new acquisitions and executed the purchases, framing, delivery. Supervised the Fine Art installation and documentation.
- Art consultant to the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Hospital System.
For 20 years provided fine art consultation to over 50 buildings and projects. I reported to the CEO and COO. My professional responsibilities included: Research, plan, site and secure artwork and coordinate commissions; Write artwork specifications and present artwork proposals to the CEO, Chief Operating Officer, Aesthetics Committee and department administrators; Curated over 2,500 artworks; Set up the first Art Systems computer database for an entire hospital system.

- Analyze and evaluate furnishings for the design of fine art within architectural furniture plans

After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Ohio University with Interior Design as my major, I held two Director of Interiors positions during my five years in Interior Design.
Granzow & Guss, Architects, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio Director of Interiors. Completed projects for such clients as Taft, Stettinius & Hollister in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Washington, D.C.; Smith & Schnacke Law Firm in Dayton, Ohio; and various Bank One facilities throughout Ohio. My professional responsibilities included the following: Formulate budget proposals for interior finishes, furnishings, and artwork; Initiate and evaluate programming and design with client expectations and functions; Coordinate furnishings and artwork contracts to support interior architectural plans; Provide art consultation and procure artwork
IKM/SGE, an architectural firm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania The second directorship for the Interior Design Department included projects with a special emphasis on healthcare. Clients included Western Psychiatric Institute and John J. Kane Hospital, as well as the conceptual planning for Pittsburgh National Bank. My professional responsibilities included: Developed project design and budget proposals; prepared and executed client presentations, bid document and evaluation; provided art consultation and procured artwork.
